One side of a rectangle is 12 inches and the other is x inches. What values of x will make the perimeter at the most 44 inches?

other side = x
perimeter = 2*(length + breadth)
=> perimeter <= 44 =>
2*(12+x)<= 44 =>
24 + 2x <= 44 => 2x <= 20 => x <= 10
