In my office, I have 'x' two drawer filing cabinets and 'y' three drawer filing cabinets. Each drawer of a two drawer filing cabinets hold 60 files. Each drawer of a three drawer filing cabinet holds 50 files. I have a total of 840 files and all my filing cabinets are full.

the total number of files in the 3 drawer cabinet is: 3*50 = 150
2*60x + 3*50y = 840
