if they leave at the same time and in the same direction, liza overtakes angel in 6 hours:
6*v1 - 6*v2 = 30 divide both sides by 6
v1 - v2 = 5
if they walked towards each other, they meet in 5 hours:
5*v1 + 5*v2 = 30 divide both sides by 5
v1 + v2 = 6
by solving the system of equations:
v1 - v2 = 5
v1 + v2 = 6
