Two friends and me go on a trip. Each of us has 2 drinks and 2 snacks. If we all trade our snacks after half have been eaten. How many different combinations of drinks and snacks could there be?

half of the snacks are eaten means there are 6/2 = 3 snacks left
there could be 3*6 = 18 different combinations of drinks and snacks.
