I am to buy a shirt worth 97naira(#97). I then borrowed 50naira(#50) each from my parents to purchase the shirt. After purchasing the shirt,i had 3naira(#3) left. I then returned 1naira(#1) to my parents each but still owing them 49naira(#49) each and still having 1naira(#1) with me. Now,by addition of the unpaid money(#49 + #49)=#98,plus the one i have with me gives me a total of #99. My question is this,explain how i have 99naira(#99) instead of 100naira(#100) that i borrowed.

see total money u have burrowed = #100
u spent 97 to purchse the shirt
so each parent contribution for the shirt will 97/2 = 48.5
left money givent to u by ur parent = 50 - 48.5 = 1.5
now u returned #1 to each parent
that makes now u have #1 from both parents and
and ur each parent loose money = 48.5 +1 = 49.5
that makes total maoney parent loose = 49.5+49.5 +1 (which u have) = 100
