Then
Jan runs x-25 meters
Mary runs x meters.
Both finishes at same time
Jan time = Mary Time
(x-25)/7.5 = x/8
8(x-25) = 7.5x
8x - 200 = 7.5x
0.5x = 200
x= 400 meters
