Problema Solution

the current I in an electrical conductor varies inversely as the resistance R of the conductor

the current is 7 amperes when the resistance is 950 ohms

what is the current when the resistance is 550 ohms?

Answer provided by our tutors

I1=7 amp; R1=950 ohms;

I2=?; R2=550 ohms;

I2=I1(R1/R2)

=7(950/550)=7(19/11)

So I2=12.09 amp

So the current when the resistance is 550 ohm is 12.09 amp
