They claimed that the ticket value was $295 A child's ticket cost $5.25 and an adult ticket cost $8.50. if there were four times as many children's tickets as adult tickets, how many adults and children got to attend the show for free?

Given,
Number of child tickets = 4x
Also given,
8.5x + 5.25×4x = 295
=> 8.5x + 21x = 295
=> 29.5x = 295
=> x = 10
=> number of childeren tickets = 4*10=40
number of adult tickets = x = 10
