Madhu's flower garden is now square.if she enlarges it by increasimg the width 1 metre and the length 3 metres ,the area will be 19 sq metres more than the present area.what is lenth of a side now?

So the equation is
x^2 +19 = (x+1)(x+3)
So
x = 4
So the length of side is 4 meters.
The length now is (4+3=7 meters), not 4 meters, thanks
