Problema Solution
Past events have shown that if tickets are sold for $20 each, then 650 people will attend the event. For each raise of $2 in the ticket price, it is estimated that 20 less people will attend.
Let x = ticketr price
let N(x)= number of patrons
Complete data table with 5 more data pairs (x,n), starting with x 20,N(x)650.

Answer provided by our tutors
We assume N(x) = ax+b
Because for each raise of $2 in the ticket price, it is estimated that 20 less people will attend, so the slope a = -20/2 = -10
So N(x) = -10x + b
When x = 20, N(20) = -10*20 + b = 650, b = 850
So
N(x) = -10x + 850
The data is
x N(x)
20 650
22 630
24 610
26 590
28 570
Graph: We draw a line passing any two pairs of the above such as (20, 650) and (22, 630).
