Problema Solution

Let f, g, and h be three functions defined as

f(x)=6x^2-19x+3

g(x)=7x-6/6x-1

h(x)=7x^2+15x-18

Find, and if possible, simplify

Answer provided by our tutors

first find fg:

(6x2-19x+3)(7x-6)/(6x-1)

factor the numerator

(6x-1)(x-3)(7x-6)/(6x-1)

this simplifies to:

(x-3)(7x-6)

now take h over this:

(7x2+15x-18)/(x-3)(7x-6)

factor the numerator:

(7x-6)(x+3)/(x-3)(7x-6)

which simplifies to:

(x+3)/(x-3)
