Kevin hiked up Lamb Canyon in 2 hours and then ran back down in 1 hour. His speed running down was 2.5 mph greater than his speed hiking uphill. How far up he canyon did he hike?

2x=y.
2x=2.5+x.
x=2.5 mph.
