I have 200.00 dollars to spend on pizza and want to feed 50 people with each person having 2 slice. a 14inch pizza is 10.00, a 16inch pizza is 13.00 and a 20inch pizza is 15.00. one slice of pizza can be no less than 14.125square inches. can i give each person 2 slices of pizza for this bugdget and in what combination of pizzas would i buy.

area of the pizzas = pi*radius2
14inch pizza: 3.14*72 = 3.14*49 = 153.86 sq in
16inch pizza: 3.14*82 = 3.14*64 = 200.96 sq in
20inch pizza: 3.14*102 = 3.14*100 = 314 sq in
TOTAL: 668.82 sq in
one slice = 14.125 sq in
need 2*50, or 100 slices
14.125 * 100 = 1412.5 sq in
which is more than the amount you have, so you cannot feed the 50 people
