If the power input to a device is P1 and the power output is P2, the amount of decibels gained or lost in the device can be stated using the logarithmic funciton.
G=10 log(p2/p1)dB.
If a certain amplifier gives a power output of 1500 W for an input of 70W, find the dB gain.
