let x be the profit from the first quarter. y the one from the second quarter and z the one from the third quarter. We know that y is 112% from x and -> y=112/100*x and z=87/100*x. The sum of x+y+z=255=> x+112/100*x+87/100*x=255=> 100x+112x+87x=255*100 => 299x=25500 => x=25000/299=$85.28.
