Joan has $3.50 in nickels,dimes, and quarters. She has the same number of nickels as quarters. She has twice as many nickels as dimes. How many of each kind of coin does Joan have?

Nickel=Quarter=1/2Dime (according to given conditions)
i.e nickels and quarters are euqal and dimes are half as nickels
so if select 10 nickels and ten quarters,
this makes 10*0.25+10*0.05=$3
remaining 50c are 5 diimes,
so 5*10=$0.5
so adding all of them
3+0.5=$3.5
