Answer provided by our tutors

0.2x + 0.1y = 0.12(x+y)

x+y=10

2x+y=1.2(X+y)

2x+y=1.2(10)

2x+y=12

2x + y - (x+y) = 12 - 10 = 2

x=2, y=8

a = 2 liters

b= 8 liters
