A bakery truck is 20 mph faster than the speed of the children chasing it. The bakery truck travels 250 miles in the same time it takes the kids to travel 150 miles. Find the speed of the bakery truck and the kids

speed of children is x miles /hr
so (250/x+20)=150/x
hence x/x+20=3/5
hence x=20*3/2=30 miles /hr hence speed of children is 30 miles /he and speed of truck is 50 miles /hr
