His youngest daughter took one-fourth of the money plus $60. After they took most of his money he was left with $25. Tell me how much money did Mr.Freeman have to begin with only using algebra?

After his wife took half he was left with $x/2
After oldest daughter takes the money, (x/2)-((1/3)(x/2)+75)= x/3-75
After youngest daughter takes her part (x/3-75)-((1/4)(x/3-75)+60))= 25
Solving we get x= 85$
