Area of inner square =5 sqrt(2)*5 sqrt(2)=50 sq units.
% of those hitting the board will land in the location decsribed =50/100=50%.
(b).
Area of circle3 =3.14*5^2=78.54 sq units.
Area of land outside the inner square but inside the circle. =78.54-50=28.54 sq units.
% =28.54/100
=28.54%.
