(1)The LCM of two numbers is 180 and their GCD is 12.
(a) given tht the two numbers are 36 and x,what is the value of x.
(b) supposing the nubers in (a) above and another number y have their GCD as 9 and LCM as 600 find the value of y.

a. 36 and x are two number
thus, GCD=12
thus , 36/12=3
hence ,
180/3=60
hence other number x=60
b. GCD=6 and LCM=900
thus, one number is 36
hence , 36/6=6
hence , the other number y=900/6=300/2=150
