Problema Solution

Plant A produced twice as many tv as plant B. Three percent from A and five percent from B were defective. How many did B produce if both plants produced 660 defective.

Answer provided by our tutors

We can calculate the solution for both Plants by doing the following:

Plant A produced 660 x 0.03 = 19.8 Defective Tvs or 640.20 Working Tvs

Plant B produced 660 x 0.05 = 33 Defective Tvs or 627working Tvs.

If you need to round up the Plant A you can say 20 defective Tvs and 640 working Tvs.

Good luck!
