Suppose 40 out of 90 people have bowlers and 3 out of 20 of the bowlers have their own bowlin ball at the same rates in a group of 180 people how many would you expect to have a bowling ball

Answer provided by our tutors

3 out of 20 of the bowlers have their own bowling ball meaning (multiply by 2)

2*3 out of 2*20 of the bowlers have their own bowling ball or

6 out of 90 have bowlers and bowling ball (multiply by 2)

2*6 = 12 out of 90*2 = 180 have bowlers and bowling ball

I would expect 12 people out of 90 to have a bowling ball.
