Let the digits be: x (the tens) and x-3 (the units), where x is a number from the set {0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9}.

no. = 10x +x-3 = 11x -3

no.obtained by reversing order of digits = 10(x - 3) + x = 10x -30+x = 11x -30

11x -3+11x-30 = 121

22x - 33 = 121

x = (121 + 33)/22

x = 7

x - 3 = 7 - 3 = 4

no. = 11*7 -3 = 74 

The original number is 74.
