The length of each side of a square is increased by 2 inches. The perimeter of the original square is ten inches more than the length of one side of the larger square. What is the length, in inches, of each side of the larger square?

x = the length of the side on the original square
4x = the perimeter of the original square
x + 2 = the length of the side of the larger square
4x = 10 + (x + 2)
