There are four identical pieces of chains, each three links long. It cost 5 pesos to open a link and 6 pesos to close one. What would be the least cost to join all twelve links into a single circle

Each chain will have 1 link open and 1 link closed thus 5 + 6 = 11 pesos are needed for each chain.
Since we have 4 chains the total will be:
4*11 = 44 pesos.
