Hi! Our class just started tackling a new chapter in algebra regarding 5th grade application of euclid s method and I did pretty good for most homeworks we got but the latest one my professor gave really confusing so I'd love if somebody would assist me to understand it! It’s a problem solving homework my math professor gave out this day and it’s due next week and I tried solving it but still can’t get it right. I just can’t finish it easily unlike the other homeworks . I had no trouble solving my past assignments but this particular homework with specific topic of rational inequalities just gives me difficulty just knowing how to start . I’m desperately in need of help. I’ll really appreciate if somebody help me in discussing the steps and how to answer it in a systematic and clear way.

I know how hard it can be if you are not getting anywhere with 5th grade application of euclid s method. It’s a bit hard to help you out without more details of your circumstances . But if you rather not get a tutor, then why not just use some software and see how it goes . There are countless programs out there, but one you should try out would be Algebrator. It is pretty useful plus it is not expensive .

Hello, just a month ago, I was stuck in a similar scenario . I had even considered the option of leaving math and selecting some other subject. A colleague of mine told me to give one last chance and gave me a copy of Algebrator. I was at ease with it within an hour. My grades have really improved within the last one month.

Interesting! I don’t have that much time to hire somebody to teach me so I think this would be just fine. Is this something bought from a mall? Do they have a webpage so that I can see more details about it ?

Algebrator is the program that I have used through several math classes - Pre Algebra, Remedial Algebra and Intermediate algebra. It is a really a great piece of math software. I remember of going through difficulties with graphing parabolas, difference of cubes and syntehtic division. I would simply type in a problem from the workbook , click on Solve – and step by step solution to my algebra homework. I highly recommend the program.
