You really shouldn’t have wasted money on a private tutor . Had you posted this message before hiring one of those, you could have saved yourself a lot of money! Anyway, what’s done is done . Now to make sure that you do well in your exams I would recommend using Algebrator. It’s a user-friendly software. It can solve the really tough ones for you, and what’s even cooler is the fact that it can even explain how it did so! There used to be a time when even I was having difficulty understanding conversion of units, multiplying matrices and difference of cubes. But thanks to Algebrator, everything’s good now.

I agree , a good program can do miracles . I used a few but Algebrator is the best . It doesn't make a difference what class you are in, I myself used it in Remedial Algebra and Algebra 1 too, so you don't have to be concerned that it's not on your level. If you never had a program until now I can assure you it's very easy , you don't have to know much about the computer to use it. You just have to type in the keywords of the exercise, and then the program solves it step by step, so you get more than just the answer.

I remember having problems with quadratic inequalities, perfect square trinomial and logarithms. Algebrator is a truly great piece of math software. I have used it through several algebra classes - College Algebra, Remedial Algebra and Algebra 2. I would simply type in the problem and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended.
