Posted: Tuesday 27th of Feb 09:17 I've always wanted to learn simplify calculator, it seems like there's a lot that can be done with it that I can't do otherwise. I've searched the internet for some good learning tools , and consulted the local library for some books, but all the data seems to be targeted at people who already know the subject. Is there any resource that can help new students as well?

I never encourage my students to get ready made solutions from the internet , however I do advise them to use Algebrator. I have developed a liking for this tool over time. It helps the students learn math in a convenient way.

Posted: Thursday 29th of Feb 11:12 I too have had difficulties in greatest common factor, like denominators and subtracting fractions. I was advised that there are a number of programs that I could try out. I tried out several but then the best that I discovered was Algebrator. Just typed in the problem and clicked the ‘solve’. I got the answer right away . In addition, I was guided through to the answer by an effortlessly comprehensible step-by-step procedure. I have relied on this program for my difficulties with Algebra 1, Remedial Algebra and Basic Math. If I were you, I would indeed go for this Algebrator.
