pre-algebra worksheet

Holla guys and gals! Recently I hired a private tutor to help me with some topics in math . My problem areas included topics such as pre-algebra worksheet and roots. Now that teacher turned out to be such a waste, that instead of helping me now I’m even more confused than I earlier was . I still can’t crack problems on those topics. And the exam time is nearing. I need someone to help me out. Is there anything in particular that can be done to get some sort of help? I have a good set of questions to help me learn these topics, but the problem is I just can’t crack them, no matter how much I try . Please help!

The thing is that even I love this software and I can’t explain how much it helped me when I lost all hope before my previous term exams. I got hold of Algebrator just before my exams and it helped me score really well in my exams. Thanks for the detailed instructions, this seems awesome. I needed something just like Algebrator, because I don't want a program which only solves the exercise and shows the final result, I want something that can actually show me how the exercise has to be solved. That way I can learn it and next time solve it without any help , not just copy the answers . Where can I find the program ?
