Guys , I am in need of help on equivalent fractions, sum of cubes, simplifying expressions and function range. Since I am a newbie to Remedial Algebra, I really want to understand the basics of College Algebra completely. Can anyone recommend the best resource with which I can begin learning the fundamental principles ? I have the final next week.

I looked into a number of software programs before I zoomed in on Algebrator. This was the most appropriate for parallel lines, logarithms and rational expressions. It was simple to key in the problem. Instead of simply giving the answer , it took me through all the steps clearing up all the way until it reached the answer . By the time, I reached the solution I learnt how to go about it on my own . I used the program for cracking my problems in College Algebra, Pre Algebra and Pre Algebra in math. Do you think that you will like to try this out?

I remember having problems with equation properties, reducing fractions and perfect square trinomial. Algebrator is a truly great piece of algebra software. I have used it through several algebra classes - Algebra 2, Algebra 2 and College Algebra. I would simply type in the problem from a workbook and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended.
