Hey everyone I am about halfway through the semester, and getting a bit worried about my course work. I just don’t seem to understand the stuff I am learning, especially things to do with pre-algebra +general patterns with specific cases. Could somebody out there please help me with graphing parabolas, quadratic formula and x-intercept. I can’t afford to get a tutor, but if anyone knows about other ways of mastering topics like y-intercept or complex fractions effectively, please help me out Thanks heaps

What exactly don't you understand about pre-algebra +general patterns with specific cases? I remember having problem with the same thing in College Algebra, so I might be able to give you some ideas on how to handle such problems. However if you want help with algebra on a long term basis, then you should try out Algebrator, that's what I did in my Intermediate algebra, and I have to say it's so cool! It's less costly than a private teacher and you can work with it anytime you feel like. It's not hard to use it, even if you never ever tried a similar software . I would advise you to get it as soon as you can and forget about getting a math tutor . You won't regret it!

Yeah man Algebrator it’s the best algebra software I’ve ever tried!. It really helped me with one converting decimals homework. All you have to do it’s to copy the homework, press on “SOLVE” and it gives you a step by step answer. I really like this program and always recommend it. I have used it through several math classes!

I remember having often faced problems with parallel lines, angle suplements and system of equations. A truly great piece of algebra program is Algebrator software. By simply typing in a problem homework a step by step solution would appear by a click on Solve. I have used it through many math classes – Intermediate algebra, Algebra 1 and Intermediate algebra. I greatly recommend the program.
