Hello Math Gurus! I am a starting at free online math tutoring. I seem to understand the lectures in the class properly , but when I begin to solve the problems at home myself, I commit errors . Does anyone know of any website where I can get my answers checked before submitting them for grading? Or any resource where I can get to see a step by step answer ?

How about some more particulars on your difficulty with free online math tutoring? I might be able to give some leads. If you are not able to get a good assistance or some one to sit and sort out your difficulty or if it is too costly , then there might be another solution to your problem. There are some good math software that you can look into . I tried them out myself. It came across to me as excellent as any tutor can be. I would opt Algebrator for the kind of answer that you are in the look out for. What is attractive about it is that it assists you step by step to the solutions rather than merely giving the answer. Why not try it out?

I agree. Stress will lead you no where. Algebrator is a very handy tool. You don’t need to be a computer pro in order to use it. Its easy to use, and it works great.

Algebrator is the program that I have used through several algebra classes - Remedial Algebra, Algebra 2 and Basic Math. It is a truly a great piece of algebra software. I remember of going through problems with complex fractions, subtracting fractions and radicals. I would simply type in a problem from the workbook , click on Solve – and step by step solution to my algebra homework. I highly recommend the program.
