You are right , there are programs that can assist you with homework. I think there are several ones that help you solve algebra problems, but I believe that Algebrator is the best amongst them. I used the software when I was a student in Basic Math for helping me with ti 89, find logarithm, and it always helped me out since then. Step by step I understood all the topics, and after a while I was able to solve the hardest of the exercises alone . Don't worry; you won't have any problem using it. It was meant for students, so it's simple to use. Actually you just have to type in the keyword and that's it .Of course you should use it to learn algebra, not just copy the results, because you won't learn that way.

Algebrator beyond doubt is a great piece of algebra software. I remember having problems with cramer’s rule, difference of squares and angle-angle similarity. By typing in the problem from workbook and merely clicking Solve would give step by step solution to the math problem. It has been of great help through several Pre Algebra, College Algebra and Algebra 1. I seriously recommend the program.

Algebrator is a very simple product and is certainly worth a try. You will also find several exciting stuff there. I use it as reference software for my math problems and can swear that it has made learning math much more fun .
