simplify linear equations is my biggest problem. Can some one help me understand it? I am a beginner at it. What book or other resource do you suggest for starting this subject?

I didn’t encounter that Algebrator program yet but I heard from my friends that it really does help in answering algebra problems. Since then, I noticed that my classmates don’t really have troubles answering some of the problems in class. It might really have been effective in improving their solving abilities in math . I am eager to use it someday because I believe it can be very effective and help me have a good grade in algebra.

I remember having often faced difficulties with hypotenuse-leg similarity, roots and adding numerators. A truly great piece of algebra program is Algebrator software. By simply typing in a problem from workbook a step by step solution would appear by a click on Solve. I have used it through many math classes – College Algebra, College Algebra and Intermediate algebra. I greatly recommend the program.
