Posted: Tuesday 22nd of Jan 19:45 Hi math fanatics. This is my first post in any forum. I struggle a lot with rules in adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing real numbers equations. No matter how hard I try, I just am not able to crack any problem in less than an hour. If things go this way, I fear I will not be able to pass my math exam.

Posted: Wednesday 23rd of Jan 08:09 The attitude you’ve adopted towards the rules in adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing real numbers is not the right one. I do understand that one can’t really think of anything else in such a situation. Its good that you still want to try. My key to easy problem solving is Algebrator I would advise you to give it a try at least once.

There are several examples given under various topics which are quite useful to learn the subject. Try it and wish you good luck with math.

Posted: Friday 25th of Jan 15:07 Algebrator is the program that I have used through several math classes - College Algebra, Basic Math and Intermediate algebra. It is a truly a great piece of algebra software. I remember of going through problems with quadratic equations, trigonometry and midpoint of a line. I would simply type in a problem from the workbook , click on Solve – and step by step solution to my math homework. I highly recommend the program.
