Problema Solution
Bens teacher asked him to write a three digit number that uses 2 once and the digit 6 twice. The value of one 6 needs to be 1/10 of the value of the other 6. What number can be wrote?
Answer provided by our tutors
The value of one 6 needs to be 1/10 of the value of the other 6 means that the tens digit can not be 2 (If the tens digit is 2 then the number would be 626 and 6 is not 1/10 of 600).
Thus the possible numbers are 662 and 266.
Indeed for the number 662: 60 is 1/10 of 600.
And for the number 266: 6 is 1/10 of 60.
