In a basketball passing drill, 5 basketball players stabd evenly spaced around a circle. The player with the ball (the passer) passes it to another player (the reeiver). The receiver cannot be the player to the passer's immediate right or left and cannot be the player who last passed the ball. A designated player begins the drill as the first passer. This player will be the receiver for the first time on which pass of the ball?

To undrestand it better, draw a circle and mark the 5 players as A B C D E. Now let us assume that A has ball. He can only give it to C or D. suppose he gives it to C. now C can only give it to E (accordng to rules). same way E can only give it to B. B can only give it to D. and D will return it to A . THAT MAKES IT 5 PASSES
