The length of a rectangle is 7ft. longer then twice the width. If the perimeter is 68ft, find the length and width of the rectangle.

x = width; length will then = 2x+7 which means 2 times the width plus 7 more feet;
calculate for half the perimeter(one width and one length)
2x+7+x=34
3x+7=34
3x=34-7
3x=27
x=9
Length 2x+7=25
