Two planes leave an airport at the same time, one flying east, the other flying west. The eastbound train travels 100 mph slower. They are 2190 miles apart after 3 hours. Find the speed of each train.

Let the speed of east going train be x
so the speed of other will be x + 100
distance traveller in 3 hours =
3x + 3(x+100) = 2190
6x = 1890
x = 315
other train's speed = 415
