Problema Solution
Body Mass index I can be used to determine whether an individual
Has a healthy weight for his or her height. Body mass index is given
By the formula, I=703W divided by Height2. A persons height is 79 in.
Determine, in terms of inequality, the weight W that will keep his body
Mass index below 21
Answer provided by our tutors
we assume that height should be given in inches
I = 703W/H, where 'W' is weight, presumably in pounds, and 'H' is height, assumed to be in inches
21 >= 703W/79
W <= 2.359
...ok, so maybe weight in some other units... because if height is changed to feet then 'W' only gets smaller
this calculates to a weight at or below '2.359 units' but I suspect there is an error in the problem statement
