a*(10^b)

(a times ten raised to the power of b), where the exponent b is an integer, and the coefficient a is any real number.

240,000,000 = 2.4 * (10^8)

0,000024 = 2.4 * (10^(-5))

0,005 = 5 * (10^(-3))

240,000,000*0,000024/0,005 = ( 2.4 * (10^8)*2.4 * (10^(-5)))/(5 * (10^(-3))) = 5.76 * 5 (10^6) = 28.8 * (10^6) = 2.88 * (10^7)
