t = the time that the truck spent of the highway before the meet up with the car
t - 8/60 = the time that the car spent on the highway before it passed the truck
since speed = distance/time = > distance = speed*time
60*t = 75*(t - 8/60)
by solving we find
t = 2/3 hours
t = 2*60/3 = 40 min
