Mother asked Celia to weed the vegetable garden. Celia responded, "I will weed an average of 40 weeds a day". She lazily weeded the first half at only 20 weeds a day. To make up for this, she weeded the second half at 60 weeds a day. She claimed that she averaged 40 weeds, since 1/2 of 20+60 is 40. Her mother said that this is incorrect. Who is right?
