Lily was in the middle rung of a ladder. She went up 3 rungs, then down 5 rungs and then up 7 rungs where she rested.
Later she climbed up the remaining 7 rungs on the ladder. How many rungs did the ladder have?

She was in the middle.
Then she went 3 up, 5 down,then 7up.
So finally she is at,
3-5+7 = 5 rungs above the middle one.
Then she climbs up 7 rungs on the ladder.
So total rungs after the middle rung = 5+7 =12.
So total no of rungs = 12+12+1 =25
