One maid can clean the house in 3 hours. another maid can do the job in 2 hours. How long will it take them to do the job working together ?

Let 'x' represent the hours that the maids will need to do the job together, x>0
1/x job per hour is the together rate
1/3 job per hour is the rate of the first maid
1/2 job per hour is the rate of the second maid
1/3 + 1/2 = 1/x
