Distance travled = 90 miles
=> Distance per gallon = 90/5 = 18 miles/gallon
We see for other readings the ratio
For 8 gal we get ratio = 144/8 = 18 miles/gallon
For 11 gallon we get ratio = 198/11 = 18 miles/gallon
Equation for the size of the tank = Miles travlled/18
=> Size of the tank = 324/18 = 18 gallons
