Problema Solution
One angle of a parallelogram is 23 degrees less than 6 times the measure of the angle next to it. The sum of the measures of the anlges is 180 degrees. Find the measure of the adjacent angles of the parallelograms.
Answer provided by our tutors
suppose one angle = x and second is y
y = 6x - 23
we also know that these angles are supplementary
x + 6x -23 = 180
7x = 180+23 = 203
x = 203/7
x = 29
so y = 6*29 - 23 = 151
adjacent angles are 29 and 151
