Two factory plants are making TV panels. Yesterday, Plant A produced 4000 fewer panels than Plant B did. Three percent of the panels from Plant A and 5% of the panels from Plant B were defective. How many panels did Plant B produce, if the two plants together produced 680 defective panels?

y-x = 4000
0.03x+0.05y= 680
Solving we get x= 6000
y=10000
So plant A produces 6000 and plant B produces 10000
