Answer provided by our tutors
0.3 x + 0.8 y = 50
x+y = 100
or 0.3 x+0.3 y = 30
Subtracting,
0.5y=20
y=40
x=100-40 = 60
Answer : 60 L of 30% and 40 L of 80% solution
